BORN TO PHOTOGRAPH THE WORLD
It is not by accident that David is a photographer. He is the third generation in a family business that began over 77 years ago with his Grandfather back in their native Cuba. When David’s father and four brothers joined his Grandfather in the early 50’s to start a chain of portrait studios throughout the country, they received national attention for their spectacular wedding and portrait photos.
David chose a different genre however, the vast expanses of this planet, nature and wilderness took the place of the studio.
David has been published nationally and internationally and has been recognized for numerous achievements in portraiture, fine art, and pet photography.
Today, David captures fine art images of pets and their owners and turns them into spectacular wall art images to display in their homes.
Always Searching For The Perfect Photograph
I don’t take photographs; I create art. To portray your pet and capture its personality takes patience and time, a lot of time. Sometimes we don’t get “the photo” because photographing your furry friend is about them, on their time, and on their terms. They decide if today is the day they will allow you to capture their best side. Finding that perfect moment that will portray your loved pet is my goal. I have buckets full of patience so with this formula we will be able to capture that special moment that you will treasure for eternity.

San Gabriel Valley Cat Fanciers Cat Show
The San Gabriel Cat Fancier’s Club held it’s annual cat show at the Arcadia Masonic Center. Over 200 cats where shown with an incredible amount of awesome cats where shown and David Macias Photography was honored to capture some of these furry jewels.
